Tottenham are still investigating two more potential signings – Club insider reveals
Tottenham Insider Paul O’Keefe has revealed that the North London club still hope to bring two more players through the door before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
Tottenham have been busy this summer
Tottenham have done some smart business so far this season, making additions in midfield, upfront and out wide with the acquisitions of Archie Gray, Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert.
In addition, Spurs have also secured the services of Korean starlet Yang Min-hyuk, who will link with the squad in January of 2025, while Lucas Bergvall, who they struck a deal for in January of this year, has now arrived through the door.
Spurs are not done in the transfer window
According to O’Keefe, Tottenham are still not done in the transfer window and could potentially make two more signings before the end of the month.
The Spurs insider claimed on social media that the Lilywhites are trying to add another defender and a midfielder to their squad.
He tweeted: “They are still investigating two positions – defender and midfielder.”
Spurs Web Opinion
It is clear that an addition in midfield is Postecoglou’s priority and I would not be surprised if Spurs pull a call out of the bag by signing a relatively high-profile name.
With the club having saved some money by signing Wilson Odobert instead of Neto, they could potentially splash £40m or so for a number eight with Premier League experience.
