COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- It is the final day of the Paris Olympics and before the closing ceremony at the Stade de France, there are just a couple of more medals to hand out.

Amongst the final events saved for the closing day include the women's basketball and volleyball finals and the women's marathon with the three medalists set to be honored during the closing ceremony. A former Buckeye wrestler will also hope to win his third Olympic medal.

Here is what to watch for the final day of the Paris Olympics, including how to watch Sunday's closing ceremony.

USA teams go for last golds

Amongst the final gold medal games will be in women's volleyball and women's basketball, both featuring USA and both on NBC4. Women's volleyball is facing Italy as they look to win back-to-back Olympic titles while women's basketball faces France as they go for its eighth straight gold medal.

Additionally, American wrestler Kyle Snyder, a former Buckeye, will hope to win his third Olympic medal as he goes for bronze in the 97kg weight class. If Snyder gets his bronze medal, he will have an Olympic medal of every color.

Closing ceremony

After the sports conclude around noon eastern, the world will shift focus back to the Stade de France for the closing ceremony, beginning live on NBC4 at 3 p.m. Swimming legend Katie Ledecky and rowing gold medalist Nick Mead will be the USA flag bearers to close out the games.

The traditions included in the closing ceremony are a final parade of athletes, the final folding of the Olympic flag, an introduction to the next summer games host, and the extinguishing of the cauldron. After France closes its book on these games, the USA will offer its first preview of the 2028 games in Los Angeles.

You can watch a primetime replay of the closing ceremony at 7 p.m. on NBC4.
