JAMES Martin’s Saturday Morning saw the celebrity chef have an uncomfortable exchange with his guest this weekend.
In the latest episode of the show, James welcomed acclaimed restaurateur Asma Khan into his ITV kitchen.
As the pair collaborated on a mouthwatering dish, things took a slightly awkward turn when Asma became concerned about a pan crackling nearby.
Eager to maintain control in his kitchen, James quickly told her: “Don’t worry, I’ve got it under control.”
Trying to ease the tension, Asma responded: “I’m not trying to stress you out. I’m just curious to see what happens next.”
Attempting to steer the conversation back to their cooking, James asked “Do you want this peeled?”
Known for her no-fuss cooking style, Asma replied: “No need to peel it.”
James agreed, adding: “I wouldn’t bother peeling it either.”
Their exchange took a more humorous turn when Asma joked: “There’s only so much torture I can inflict on you in your own kitchen.”
