Cooler, hazy weekend expected around the PNW
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Hazy skies remain around Oregon and Washington this weekend as temperatures fall nearly 10 degrees.
Portland area temperatures will go from nearly 90 Saturday to only 80 degrees come Sunday. That will put Portland area temperatures below average through the next week. Hazy skies will likely remain as western wildfires continue to burn.
Relief from warmer temperatures can be found along the coast this weekend. The marine layer will stay along the coast. That will keep temperatures mild for the Seaside Beach Volleyball event this weekend.
A few more clouds are expected to linger along the Willamette Valley next week. That will help to keep temperatures cooler than average.
Portland sees a very slim chance for an isolated rain shower or two by the end of the week. The chance still remains low, but a chance nonetheless.
