My $1.25 Dollar Tree lipstick is 5/5 stars – the color lasts for hours & reminds me of a pricier Charlotte Tilbury buy
A DOLLAR TREE shopper found a budget lipstick that surpassed her expectations and earned a five-star rating.
She said the makeup product lasted for hours and was a dupe for a pricier Charlotte Tilbury beauty buy.
Reddit user Sophie_The_Glam_Diva loves a good beauty deal, especially when it’s good quality.
She gushed about a Dollar Tree lipstick that is long-lasting and similar to an item from a popular makeup brand.
Sophie picked up two lipsticks from the discount store for $1.25 each and reviewed them both.
First, she raved about the L.A. Colors Nude Glam Lipstick in “Oh Teddy.”
“The shade of this Lipstick is a pinkish, nude brown. It has a satin finish. No sparkles or shimmer. It is high coverage, and it feels smooth and creamy upon my lips,” she said.
On top of that, she said it smells really good and reminded her of “butter popcorn.”
I was able to wear it for five hours before needing touch-ups.
The pigment is excellent, it’s super pigmented and quite opaque with just a single swipe.
“Oh Teddy is gorgeous,” another Redditor commented.
Sophie agreed and said it was perfect for her everyday use.
“Its shade reminded me of one of those ever-so-popular Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks,” she added.
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Hydrating Lipstick, $35, in the shade Pillow Talk is a similar nude or pink tone.
According to the product description, the matte lipstick features a long-lasting, buildable, and hydrating formula.

“I absolutely needed this to go with my greyscale eyeshadow palette I also picked up by L.A Colors the day of this haul,” she said.
She said this lipstick also has a satin finish and is semi-matte, unlike Oh Teddy.
It also has no sparkles or shimmer like the first lipstick.
“It is definitely high coverage just like advertised,” she said.
Sophie called the pigmentation stunningly bold in just a swipe.
“This one also smells identical to the above one, a buttery popcorn scent! I was also able to wear this one for five hours before touching it up,” she aded.
To be transparent, she said that she was not eating or drinking when she tested the budget buys the first wear.
“I did notice a good amount of transfer on cups when I eventually did,” she added.
