DIY SOS star Nick Knowles spotted in embrace with Strictly’s Luba Mushtuk as they rehearse for new series
NICK Knowles has been spotted in the arms of Luba Mushtuk as the pair put in the graft during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.
The DIY SOS anchor, 61, is part of the 2024 show’s celebrity line-up – signing up after “months” of talks.
The Sun previously reported how dad-of-four Nick had been in talks with the BBC for months and recently came to an agreement to join the show.
Now he has been seen in hold with BBC show professional Luba, 34, at Strictly Come Dancing‘s rehearsal studios.
The pair are already pals, after Luba joined him for a Strictly special of his home makeover series DIY SOS last year.
And he already looks intent on making a strong stab for the Glitterball trophy.
Nick, wearing a dark top, was seen looking intently in front of him as he strode forward, seeming to practise a particular arm position.
Luba, with her blonde hair in a short style and wearing a strappy vest, could be seen giving words of encouragement.
In another shot, the fan-favourite presenter was seen embracing the Russian-born dancer and choreographer as they swirled around in hold.
Previously, a source close to Nick spoke out after his Strictly spot was revealed.
They told us: “Nick has always loved Strictly and he is so excited.
“He’s got a great personality, is incredibly driven and competitive and is up for giving anything a crack.
“He’s going on the show to entertain and to win.
“He’ll give it his best shot.”
Nick is now engaged to his fiancee Katie Dadzie.

The Sun revealed what Katie thought about the “Strictly curse”, ahead of his appearance on the show.
A source told us: “Katie isn’t worried about the curse.
“After Nick signed up for the show they joked about it, they’re very confident in their relationship.
“Obviously Katie is stunning and Nick definitely isn’t looking elsewhere – why would he?
“This is nothing but a job for him.”
