Injury Update Ahead Of Celtic

David Gray provided supporters with an injury update ahead of this weekend’s game against Celtic.

His squad was bolstered this week by the signings of Junior Hoilett, Nicky Cadden, and Kieron Bowie, and when speaking to Hibs TV, he provided an update on them.

“They’re all at different stages. They’ve done their testing and medicals, so we know where they’re at.

“Nicky Cadden was without a club since the end of last season. Kieron Bowie has been down south with Fulham, and Myko was behind on pre-season.

“We’re assessing the players that have come in, and are managing the risks and rewards at this stage.”

On a positive note, away from the transfers, Elie Youan is the only other player unavailable.

“Elie is definitely not available still, but he’s getting better all the time and progressing well. We’re delighted with the progress that he’s made on that.

“Harry McKirdy has had another week in training after his chest infection, so he’s getting stronger every day. It was great to get Cadds some minutes at the weekend too. We’re in a much stronger place and there’s competition for places.”
