Heavy rain to lash Delhi, NCR over next few days, yellow alert issued; Check traffic, waterlogging warnings

The IMD predicts that the rainy spell will persist throughout the weekend, with fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate showers expected across northern India. Specifically, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and east Rajasthan are likely to experience the heaviest rain, while scattered showers are forecast for Jammu-Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, and west Rajasthan.
