China, one of the countries known for its superfast trains, has successfully tested an ultra-high-speed Maglev train capable of reaching speeds of 1,000 kilometers per hour. Breaking traditional barriers, this train levitates above the tracks, allowing it to reach hyperspeed. Developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited, the Maglev train operates on magnetic levitation technology, and its trial run was conducted in Shanxi province. Notably, the fastest train in India, the Vande Bharat Express, has a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour; however, it currently operates at 150 kilometers per hour.

How Maglev Train Can Reach Extraordinary Speed

Maglev Train does not use wheels, axles, or bearings like traditional trains, instead, it levitates above specially made tracks, allowing it to reach superfast speed.

Maglev Train Test Run

Recently, China put its latest Maglev train to the test, undertaking a successful run in a two-km-long tube with low-pressure conditions. The star of the day, a superconducting Maglev train, checked all the right boxes during these tests, showing promise for the future. Notably, the work on this high-speed Maglev transport network first kicked off in April 2022.

Delhi To Patna In 1 Hour

Introducing these kinds of hyper-trains in India is not easy, as these trains require completely new railway tracks that can withstand extraordinary speed and heat. However, people violating rules by crossing railway tracks, as well as animals on the tracks, are also major reasons why these trains cannot operate in India at present. But if these hyper-trains are introduced in India, they will completely transform the travel experience for passengers and drastically reduce travel time. With these hyper-trains, the journey from Delhi to Patna could be completed in just one hour.

World’s Fastest Train

The world’s fastest train happens to be in China. This magnificent machine, known as the Shanghai Maglev, swiftly shuttles passengers between Shanghai Pudong Airport and Longyang Station, hitting top speeds of about 460 kilometers per hour.
