Bangladesh: BSF thwarts attempts to cross border in Bengal

A thousand Bangladeshis attempted to cross into India at Sitalkuchi, West Bengal, due to reported attacks on minorities. The BSF, in coordination with the Border Guards Bangladesh, managed the situation to avoid tensions. Reports indicate many Hindus are trying to cross the border to escape violence in Bangladesh.
