Cabinet highlights: Eight big railway projects, additional houses under Awas Yojana, SC/ST reservation and more

The Union Cabinet, headed by PM Narendra Modi, approved several key projects for railways, housing, and farmer welfare. Eight new railway projects will focus on tribal regions, with significant investments in high-speed road corridors and urban housing under the PMAY-U 2.0 Scheme. The development will mainly benefit Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and the Northeast.
