Train passengers gobsmacked as they spot ‘stunning’ Hollywood A-lister travelling to Edinburgh
TRAIN staff were left stunned after spotting an A-list Hollywood actress travelling to Edinburgh.
True to her girl next door reputation, the global superstar tucked into a Pret sandwich and packet of crisps as she hunkered down in a first class carriage.
She munched on a Pret sandwich on the train at 9am on Monday[/caption]Barbie actress Margot Robbie, who is pregnant with her first child, took the window seat beside her husband, Tom Ackerley, 34.
Despite her best efforts to go incognito in a plain trucker cap and vest top, Margot’s star quality shone through and she was quickly spotted by a staff member on board the King’s Cross to Edinburgh service.
The anonymous employee said: “I don’t think any other travellers recognised them.
“I pointed her and Tom out to my work colleagues, otherwise I think they wouldn’t have been spotted and travelled to their final destination unnoticed.
“I was completely star-stuck.”
The worker continued: “She’s absolutely stunning, even with barely any make-up on.
“It’s my absolute biggest celebrity spot to date – she’s A* royalty.”
Over the years Margot, 34, has maintained her reputation as a woman of the people.
She famously lived in a house share in Clapham while filming The Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio.
And she’s fawned over Love Island stars on numerous red carpets, too, as a self-confessed superfan of the reality show.
The Australian superstar, who rose to fame on her native soap Neighbours, married Brit Tom in 2016.
In July it was reported the couple were expecting their first child.
It comes after Margot showed off her growing baby bump in a chic dress at Wimbledon last month.
The blonde bombshell was all smiles as she walked through the VIP section before taking their seats in center court.
She looked glamourous as ever teaming her look with a pair of peep-toe black heeled mules and a matching white and black handbag.
The Suicide Squad star was seen wearing a hospitality lanyard around her neck, over her loose-fitted floaty frock.
Margot gave fans a glimpse of her blossoming bump as she took her seat.
And many have been speculating over what the couple will name their new arrival.
Fans have already suggested that Margot should name her first child after her role as Harley Quinn in DC’s Suicide Squad.
Margot has been married to Tom since December 2016[/caption]“Margot I know you’re reading this, please name the baby harley,” said one X user.
“If Margot doesn’t name her first baby ‘Harley’ I’m gonna throw a fit,” wrote another.
A third said, “If Margot Robbie’s baby doesn’t have the name ‘Harley’ ‘Harleen’ ‘Quinn’ or ‘Quinzel’ in it…”
While many suggest she name her child Harley or Quinn, others are hoping she’ll name her baby Barbie.
“If Margot Robbie doesn’t name her kid Barbie, I’ll cry,” one wrote.
“Well she has the perfect opportunity to name her kid Barbie, and plus it’s almost the one year anniversary.”
MOM AT THE RIGHT TIME
HAVING a family has always been a goal for Margot and her husband.
“If I’m looking into my future 30 years from now, I want to see a big Christmas dinner with tons of kids there,” she told Net-A-Porter in 2018.
However, the actress expressed that she was tired of people asking her when she would have a baby of her own the following year.
Speaking to Radio Times in 2019, Margot said, “I got married, and the first question in almost every interview is ‘Babies? When are you having one?’
“I’m so angry that there’s this social contract. You’re married, now have a baby. Don’t presume. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”
Margot has been married to Tom since December 2016.
The pair began dating a year after they met on the set of the 2013 film Suite Française.
Margot and Tom kept their relationship private, including their engagement and nuptials.
At the beginning of their relationship, the two launched a production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
Over the years, Margot has praised her husband for helping her throughout her successful career, including calming the actress’ nerves after booking a gig.
In 2021, Margot told the Daily Mirror, “Every time I do a movie, I turn to my husband and I’m like ‘I don’t think I can do this.’
“He says something like, ‘You do this every time. You’ll be fine.'”
