ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Happy Friday everyone! Meteorologist Matt Mackie says it's going to be a gloomy day with showers, possible heavier rain or storms, and temperatures reaching the mid-to-high 70s.

Planned Parenthood announced it is closing multiple clinics in New York. Also, Waterford Harbor has been preparing for the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby to hit the Capital Region. This, and more, in your five things to know this Friday.

1. Planned Parenthood to Close Three Clinics in New York

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) announced on Wednesday that it will close three of its clinics, including in the Capital Region, by this fall. The closures will affect health centers in Goshen (Orange County), Amsterdam, and Cobleskill.

2. Waterford Harbor prepared for Debby

The Capital Region is prepared for Tropical Storm Debby and this rain-soaker event. NEWS10’s crews checked in with the Waterford Harbor Master and some mariners who had stopped there for the storm, Thursday.   “This has come up quite a bit over the last 24 hours and it will continue to,” said Harbor Master Jeff Cleary.

3. Albany woman arrested in stolen dog investigation

An Albany woman was arrested and accused of stealing a French bulldog. Destiny Winslow, 29, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

4. Police investigating dead body found in Schenectady

Schenectady Police are investigating after someone was found dead in a vacant lot on Sprague Street between Stanley Street and Delamont Avenue. Police have not released the name of the victim, but say she is a woman in her 30s.

5. Experts weigh in on FBI raid of Scott Ritter’s Home

An FBI raid of former USMC Intelligence Officer and United Nations Weapons Inspector William Scott Ritter Jr.’s home took place in Delmar on Wednesday. According to Ritter, the FBI acted on a search warrant for his home for violating the Foreign Agents Restriction Act.
