Kela: Stopping national pension payments abroad could create more work, prompt lawsuits
HALTING the payments of national pensions to people living abroad could create additional administrative work and spawn lawsuits, views the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela).
Kela made the prediction in its comment on a government draft bill that would redefine national pensions paid to recipients living abroad as a minimum pension, enabling it to halt such payments, STT reported on Tuesday.
