Debashis Bhattacharya and Pradip Mookerji pen down their thoughts on Mohun Bagan’s second game in Durand Cup.

Sahal Abdul Samad was outstanding in the game, he was the controller of the game until he was substituted. He was supported extremely well by Apuia, Manvir and Liston.

Cummings and Suhail were at the upfront, while Cummings scored twice, Suhail was close to score his first quite a few times. Cummings not only scored two brilliant goals, he was seen coming down to midfield to support Sahal.

The second goal was scored by Tom. However Tom or Albarto, who came as sub in the second half , were not fully tested as opposition did not go for much of counter attacks. Deepak played in the defense along with Bose, and might need some more fine tuning. Abhishek was the libero and needs some more fine tuning.

Greg came as a sub and did show his magic touches from time to time. Thapa scored a briliant goal as well.

Overall, the foreigners were pretty impressive, and we look forward for more fireworks when Dimitri is introduced to the team.

Overall, team played in an attacking mode right from the word go, and definitely supporters enjoyed today’s feat.
