Sheridan Hollow Apartments ribbon cutting in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Sheridan Hollow Affordable Living Apartments in the Sheridan Hollow neighborhood in Albany will be unveiled on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Independent, BIPOC female developer Sierra Murray will be joined by The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) with several Albany Officials for the ribbon cutting.
Murray was supported by the CPC's ACCESS Initiative, which provides funding and education to minority developers to help start and grow in the industry. Murray received a $207,000 loan from CPC after graduating from their Incubator training series and hopes to revitalize the Sheridan Hollow Neighborhood, having grown up there, and other properties in the area.
