Specialty chemical startup Scimplify raises $9.5 million from Omnivore, others

Scimplify to use the fresh capital to enhance research and development (R&D) capabilities and enter new markets. According to the company the global specialty chemicals market was valued at over $800 billion in 2023, with agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals comprising more than 60% of the market. India is the world’s second-largest exporter of agrochemicals, and the Indian chemical industry is expected to double its output by 2027.
