Sensex slides 209 pts; RBI keeps policy rates unchanged at 6.5%

At 10:30 ST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was down 209.24 points or 0.26% to 79,258.59. The Nifty 50 index lost 58.95 points or 0.24% to 24,238.55.
