Mark Neary Donohue Jr. (18 March 1937 – 19 August 1975), nicknamed “Captain Nice,” and later “Dark Monohue,” was an American racecar driver known for his ability to set up his own race car as well as driving it to victories.Donohue is probably best known as the driver of the 1500+ bhp “Can-Am Killer” Porsche 917-30 and as the winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 1972.
