Get back-to-school supplies in Abbeville this Saturday

ABBEVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- This Saturday, children in need of back-to-school supplies can attend the Annual Sack 4 Support Back 2 School in Abbeville.
The community function will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana on 301 AA Comeaux Memorial Drive in Abbeville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Louisiana State Police teamed up with Once Was Inc., Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, DJ N.V. Navy Vet, and Waste Connections to provide back-to-school supplies for children in need.
The school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be present at the event to pick up school supplies.
