USGS: 3.5 magnitude earthquake rocks Pontotoc County

STONEWALL, Okla. (KFOR) — A 3.5 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter just over six miles outside of Stonewall shook Pontotoc County on Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey
USGS says the quake happened at 7:55 a.m., with an epicenter 6.3 miles north of Stonewall and 9 miles east-by-southeast of Ada.
In several Facebook posts, residents in Ada and the surrounding area say they felt strong tremors through their homes.
News 4 reached out to Pontotoc County Emergency Management early Wednesday afternoon to ask if they've received any reports of damages following the earthquake. We are waiting to hear back.
