'The Gilded Age' filming closes streets in Troy
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Parking restrictions and detours for closed roads have returned to Troy for filming "The Gilded Age." Residents should remain vigilant about detours and no parking signs throughout the city.
Closed roads
- Wednesday, Aug. 7
- State Street at 1st Street, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Congress Street at 2nd Street, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- 3rd Street at Washington Street, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 8
- Franklin Alley, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 3rd Street at Washington Street, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 9
- 3rd Street at Washington Street, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The city will announce additional parking restrictions and road closures over the coming weeks. Mayor Carmella Mantello said she and the rest of the city are excited for HBO to film in Troy again.
"This series highlights the beauty and history of our city, and the mesmerizing architecture that goes with it," Mantello said. "As filming begins, we ask that residents be patient with road closures and follow no-parking signs."
