Bangladesh unrest: Operationalisation of 3 border check posts postponed

India has delayed the opening of three new integrated check posts on the Indo-Bangladesh border due to turmoil in Bangladesh. This includes Golakganj and Mankachar in Assam and Sabroom in Tripura. The situation has also affected trade volumes at existing border check posts, including those at Petrapole-Benapole and Srimantapur.
