Fans turned Colorado's horribly edited 'Darts Only' Shedeur Sanders video into the first big meme of the season

It’s not college football season until the majority of fans band together to turn a rather innocuous moment into an extremely petty meme.

So, while Week 0 may still be a ways away, the season officially kicked off on Tuesday when Colorado dropped a edited hype video of Shedeur Sanders throwing lasers in training camp, only to watch the clip get ridiculed online.

The video — posted with the caption “Darts Only” — shows Sanders dropping back for a deep touchdown pass, but the video cuts quickly to what looks like the conclusion of a different play.

Whether or not the edit featured the same play quickly became irrelevant once college fans found a perfect new meme format to kick off the year.

The “Darts Only” caption quickly spread to the point where even other college teams were mocking the edit. It’s really hard to blame them.
