Trai rules out rethink on quality of service norms

The telecom regulator has maintained its stance on implementing the new quality of service rules from October 1 despite concerns from mobile operators. The new rules, aimed at improving consumer service, include stricter standards and compensation for unresolved network outages. Trai chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti stated that the norms were issued after thorough consultation.
