Airtel, Jio turn focus to wireless home 5G for better monetisation

India’s leading telcos, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, are expanding their fixed wireless access (FWA) services to enhance home broadband offerings, capitalizing on 5G technology. By using 5G standalone (SA) technology for FWA, both companies reduce reliance on costly and time-consuming fiber rollouts.
