NCLT approves Indian Steel & Wire Products’ merger with Tata Steel

The National Company Law Tribunal in Mumbai has approved the merger of Tata Group's Indian Steel & Wire Products Ltd with Tata Steel Ltd. The merger, argued to improve shareholder value and operational efficiencies, is aligned with the group's strategy of simplification, synergy, scale, sustainability, and speed, consolidating businesses under the 'One-Tata Steel' initiative.
