Fuzzy's Taco Shop of Topeka announces closing
TOPEKA (KSNT) - On Tuesday, Fuzzy's Taco Shop of Topeka announced on social media that it would be shutting down.
Fuzzy's Taco Shop made the announcement that after 7 years of business, they would be closing their doors. According to the announcement, the location will permanently be closing on Friday, Aug. 9.
As part of a closing celebration, Fuzzy's Taco Shop will be selling bar items like beer at 50% off and 18oz draft beers for $1.
"Thank you all who stayed and continued to be a part of this family we built over the years," Fuzzy's Taco Shop wrote on Facebook.
Earlier this year Fuzzy's Taco Shop in Topeka faced social media backlash after a customer shared a video of a cockroach infestation. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop responded by taking action to deep clean the location, according to a statement provided to KSNT News. The shop reopened for business after passing a health inspection on Jan. 25, 2024.
