Big Brother contestant Yinrun and her partner Luke announce engagement
Big Brother star Yinrun Huang has confirmed she is now engaged to her partner Luke, announcing the news via social media.
The star, who finished in fourth place during the first series of the ITV reboot of the show, took to Instagram to reveal that her boyfriend had got down on one knee, with the accompanying video showing Luke’s personal touch in the proposal.
The video shows Yinrun and Luke preparing to film what the reality star thought was a dance, but just as she was about to get in line, Luke got down on one knee and uttered his proposal in Yinrun’s native Chinese.

“Huang Yinrun,” he began. “I wanted to give you a special message, and I wanted to do so in your native language. Sorry in advance if my pronunciation is still bad. Because of you, everything is the best. I am so, so, so grateful to have you in my life.
“Sorry, I’m a bit nervous so I’ve written it down. Every moment we spend together is filled with happiness, and your laughter fills me with warmth. Your love has brought me peace and contentment. I am so lucky to have you in my life, and I promise to always adore you.
“I hope to build a lifetime of memories together. Will you marry me?” he concluded, with a tearful Yinrun, who held Luke’s hand throughout the speech, saying yes as they embraced with an emotional hug.

“He secretly learned Chinese to Propose ???????????? #fiance #proposal #engagement #love” wrote Yinrun in the caption, before adding a comment which read: “Thank you so much for all your love and support ❤️ We couldn’t be happier!! ???? xx”
Yinrun and Luke received several messages of congratulations in the comment section, with Big Brother co-star Henry Southan writing: “CONGRATS you gorgeous pair????” Strictly Come Dancing professional Nancy Xu also left a comment, writing: “Happy for you guys ????????????????????wishing you all the old days ????????.”
