Vinesh Phogat, a 29-year-old Indian female wrestler, has been disqualified for weighing 100 grams more than the permissible limit in the 50 kg women's wrestling at the Paris Olympics. The decision comes as Phogat had been making Indians dream of a record gold medal in the Olympics if she won the final wrestling match in the 50 kg category. She has nearly 15 medals in international championships, including Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Championships.
