‘This is what we’re here for!’ Call of Duty fans are thrilled by new Black Ops 6 Zombies trailer
THERE is just over two months left before we can dive into the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Activision is making sure that the hype train keeps on rolling.
Players will be able to get an early look at the multiplayer modes towards the end of this month in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta, but there’s even more to enjoy before then.
A gameplay trailer for Zombies mode will come out soon[/caption]Activision has just released a new three-minute long cinematic trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty’s popular Zombies mode featuring some popular characters and a sneak peek at the story.
Set five years after the end of the story for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the trailer opens on the cells where the team were captured and held by Edward Richtofen.
Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, and Stoney Maddox have spent years in their cells, and have undergone severe physical and mental changes.
In the trailer, a young Filipina smuggler, Maya Aguinaldo, comes to break the team out in the hopes of finding her brother, killing the guard and opening the cells.
However, she is accompanied by Dr. William Peck, a person who the team is not at all happy to see.
A scuffle occurs between the two groups but it comes to a halt when the group is alerted to another outbreak occurring on Terminus Island where they’ve been held.
It seems that Samantha Maxis’ sacrifice to close the portal to the zombies for good has been in vain.
While this is just a small teaser for what the story of Black Ops 6 Zombies will feature, more information for the mode will come shortly.
Premiering on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 8am PT / 11 ET / 4pm BST Activision will be releasing a gameplay trailer for Zombies mode, so players can see exactly what format the mode will take.
While there are some fans who are into the game’s story, most people get involved for the gameplay.
Call of Duty fans have been praising the trailer, with many leaving positive messages under the announcement.
One user wrote: “Can’t believe this is on Game Pass” while another said: “I used to pray for times like this.”
Many players were also showing off their combat records, hoping to recruit new teammates.
