Coffee prices jump 4% as production outlook deteriorates

Robusta coffee, which used to be a cheaper variety used in blends for popular supermarket brands, posted a 5% price increase in London on Tuesday to $4,383 per metric ton. Robusta is up 44% this year, after gaining 63% in 2023.
