Sri Lanka experimenting with IUDs to tackle monkey menace 

The ongoing experiment seeks to adapt intrauterine devices (IUDs), an increasingly popular long-term contraception method for humans — upon insertion into the woman’s uterus, an IUD prevents pregnancy — to the monkey species.
