Flouted waste rules, two Gurgaon societies fined

MCG sanitation teams fined two residential societies on Golf Course Road Extension for not following Solid Waste Management rules. The fines were Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000. The societies failed to compost or process wet waste and didn't recycle dry waste. They have 20 days to comply with the regulations or face further action.
