Three top hair and makeup artists will reveal secrets behind their projects when they join Gold Derby’s special “Meet the Experts” Q&A event with 2024 Emmy Awards nominees. They will participate in two video discussions to premiere on Wednesday, August 14, at 4:00 p.m. PT; 7:00 p.m. ET. Fallout
Synopsis: In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.
Bio: Jake Garber was an Oscar nominee for “Star Trek: First Contact.” He is a three-time Emmy winner for “The X-Files” and “The Walking Dead,” plus received nominations for “Mad Men” and “American Horror Story.”
The Gilded Age
Synopsis: The series follows the conflicts surrounding the new money Russell family and their old money neighbors, the van Rhijn family, in 1880s New York City high society.
Bio: Sean Flanigan was an Emmy winner for “Mad Men.” He was previously nominated for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and now has two 2024 nominations for “The Gilded Age” and “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.”
True Detective: Night Country
Synopsis: Anthology series in which police investigations unearth the personal and professional secrets of those involved, both within and outside the law.
Bio: Peter Swords King was an Oscar winner for “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” and was nominated for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.” This is his first nomination at the Emmys.
