TikToker Marilyn (@Marilyn__442) shared how she turned two basic finds into a chic new piece in a viral video.

Dollar Tree is known for its affordable buys, with most items priced at just $1.25 a pop.

The DIY fan took full advantage, grabbing a few pieces from the homeware section.

Using a glue gun, she got to work on her Pottery Barn-worthy masterpiece.

HOW IT’S DONE

Marilyn used two plastic bowls from Dollar Tree, placing one face down and the other face up.

She glued the bottoms of the two pieces together to create a bowl with a stand.

Next, she used Rust-Oleum Multi-Color Textured Spray Paint, which is sold for $10.48 on Amazon, to give it a rustic look.

The final result was perfect to display on a bookshelf for added decor.

She turned it up a notch, adding black beads to the homemade bowl.

When she showed off the decor in another video, she jokingly asked, “Pottery Barn, who?”

CROWD PLEASER

Marilyn’s video has been viewed more than 2.5 million times and came as many are looking to save money on interior design.

Dollar Tree is known for its low prices, including homeware, makeup, and more.

Several TikTokers gushed over her creative interior design project on a budget.

“That would look pretty with flowers in it,” one wrote.

“I made this years ago in the gold-speckled paint and loved it,” another added.

“OK this one is actually really good and looks even better,” a third commented.

“Running, not walking, to Dollar Tree,” yet another wrote.

“The first dollar store project that didn’t look like $1,” one more commented.

Others were upset that they couldn’t find the product at their local Dollar Tree.

“I would love to purchase these things and make them for Mother’s Day gifts. Too bad I cannot find the products in my store any of them,” they said.
