Deputies: 2 arrested on felony drug charges in Providence

PROVIDENCE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of two Greenfield residents. Jason Allen, 44, and Courtney Gilboy, 27, face multiple drug charges.

Charges

• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
• Second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia

According to the sheriff's office, Allen and Gilboy were found sleeping in a car outside of a home that deputies were doing a warrant check on in Providence. Deputies say the two are accused of having 500 milligrams or more of cocaine with intent to sell and having a scale used to weigh the narcotics with intent to sell.

Both were arraigned in Milton Town Court. Allen was placed in Saratoga County Jail and Gilboy was released to pretrial services pending further action in the matter.
