This Morning shock as host mysteriously deletes Instagram account and says nothing
ONE of This Morning’s most popular presenters has stirred up a mystery after appearing to delete his Instagram account.
The TV host’s profile now reads either “this page isn’t available” or “user not found” when social media users attempt to interact with the TV star.
Craig, who has been hosting This Morning alongside his TV pal Josie Gibson this week, has made no reference as to why he has scrubbed his account.
The charming presenter regularly uploads snaps to the social media site but his account now appears to be well and truly gone.
He has given no indication in recent weeks as to why he would be absent from posting online.
Craig has been a regular face on the ITV daytime offering for the past two years after viewers instantly fell in love with the star after ITV made a surprising choice when they opted to have him guest co-host an episode.
Fans were instantly taken by Craig and he soon was promoted to the lead relief presenter in the absence of then host Phillip Schofield and Dermot O’Leary.
He quickly also found a natural partnership with fellow This Morning star Josie Gibson who was promoted from the show’s competitions presenter to be Craig’s right-hand woman.
The duo helped to keep This Morning afloat after hosting virtually every other week throughout 2023 after Phillip’s departure and Holly’s lengthy absence and then again when Holly opted to leave the programme over her kidnap threat.
He and Josie have been helping to helm coverage over this year’s summer holidays.
Despite this, fans have long been begging for Craig and Josie to get the top gig, especially in the run-up to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley bagging the leading roles.
Commenting on a photo of them on the This Morning Instagram page, one wrote: “Should be made permanent hosts as they seem to have a good chemistry together.”
Another said: “Think both of ye should be made permanent hosts ye are the best on it.”
Someone else wrote: “You’re such a Natural Josie and Craig is also very Natural. You both should get the full time job Presenting the Show.”
And a fourth added: “You and Craig should be the new hosts!”
