Known for being the daughter of Fred Sirieix, Andrea credits her mother for getting her into diving. Here’s what we know about her.
Who is Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix’s mum Alex?
Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix is the daughter of Fred Sirieix, and his former partner Alessandra ‘Alex’ Spendolini, who has Italian heritage.
While Fred is best known for appearing on Channel 4‘s First Dates, little is known about her mother.
The couple were together for 12 years and share two children, Andrea and Lucien.
However, Andrea said both her parents had sacrificed so much so she could achieve her dreams.
She said: “There’s no amount of thankyous that can repay everything that they’ve done, and so I hope that this is a starting point.”
Speaking on Team GB’s YouTube channel, Andrea added: “I didn’t want to start diving… my mum forced me to start diving.”
She says her whole family have supported her dreams: “They would watch three-and-a-half hour, four hour training sessions.
“So the medals that I have, I bring back and give straight to them because it’s like, I’m competing but I want to give back as much as I possibly can to my family.”
What does Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix’s mum Alex do for a living?
According to a Company House filing, Alex was the director of Fred’s AOS company from 2016 to 2018, before she resigned.
The firm, which was previously known as Art of Service, was dissolved in 2019.
Her Facebook profile suggests that she is a strength and conditioning personal trainer.
When was Alex Spendolini in a relationship with Fred Siriex?
Fred was in a long-term relationship with Alex, however, they never married.
In 2018, the maître d’hôtel went public with his relationship with his current partner Fruitcake.
The two got engaged in 2020 and were due to get married in 2021 but had to call their wedding off due to the pandemic.
The star was joined on the Gogglebox sofa by his fiancée in 2022.
Fred and his fiancée – whose name still hasn’t been publicly revealed – live together in Peckham.
They share their home with his two children.
