Oklahoma man to face molestation charges in Acadia Parish
CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- An Oklahoma man has been charged with two counts of molestation in Acadia Parish, authorities said.
Brian Rich, 50 of Edmond, Oklahoma is accused of inappropriate touching of a person under the age of 18 on two separate occasions "several years ago," according to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office. Rich was arrested in Oklahoma and brought to Louisiana to face the charges.
Officials said the alleged incident occurred several years ago, and the investigation was opened in recent months. The suspect was visiting the victim’s family during these encounters, authorities said.
Rich was previously arrested in 2022 after being caught on surveillance cameras peeping into the window of a teenager in Edmond.
Bond has been set at $400,000. Rich remains incarcerated at the Acadia Parish Jail, officials said.
