Troy accepting bids for city-owned foreclosed properties
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The City of Troy is accepting bids to purchase city-owned foreclosed properties. The 31 properties available for sale include one and two-family homes and vacant residential land. They can be found online.
Bid proposals are required to be delivered by mail to the Office of the City Assessor, 433 River Street, Troy, New York 12180 by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4th. Proposals can also be delivered in person to the City Assessor’s Office.
“The sale of foreclosed properties opens up exciting opportunities for investment in our neighborhoods," said Mayor Carmella Mantello. "By bringing new activity to vacant land and inactive buildings, we can revitalize these areas and expand our community. I encourage interested individuals and families to explore the properties available for purchase and become part of Troy’s growth and renewal.”
