Potential Saied opponent jailed in lead-up to Tunisian presidential elections

Abir Moussi, a fierce critic of incumbent Tunisian President Kais Saied regarded as a potential candidate in the upcoming presidential election, was given a two-year jail sentence on Monday for criticising the country's High Independent Authority for Elections, joining dozens of recently jailed Saied critics.
