Ella Morgan risks wrath of Celebs Go Dating bosses as she confirms she has a boyfriend as filming on show continues
ELLA Morgan looks set to ruffle the feathers of Celebs Go Dating bosses after admitting she has a boyfriend – despite filming for the E4 show continuing.
The former Married At First Sight star signed up to the E4 dating show in a bid to find love earlier this year.
Ella, who famously had an affair with Katie Price‘s boyfriend JJ Slater on MAFS, gushed about her “boyfriend” whilst at Brighton Pride over the weekend despite being under contract with Celebs Go Dating.
The 29-year-old made the admission that she had found love live on stage as she introduced headline act Girls Aloud to the crowd.
Appearing to acknowledge that she would be in hot water with the admission, Ella giddly told the cheering crowd: “I’m not supposed to say anything about this because of Celebs Go Dating.”
However, she went on to reveal that her “boyfriend” Alex was in the crowd and attending Pride with her as she revealed she had finally found love.
Ella, who is openly transgender, made the admission as she reflected on the struggles of dating as a trans woman during her speech.
She went on to add that her new boyfriend Alex identifies as “straight” and is “cis-gendered”.
She could not hide the grin off her face as she beamed whilst publicly speaking about Alex.
It is unclear if Ella and Alex met during the filming for Celebs Go Dating or if they met in other circumstances.
The Sun has reached out to Celebs Go Dating for comment.
An insider further added: “The programme makers of the show are no doubt going to be left gritting their teeth that Ella has made such a public admission.
“Not only could it give away the ending to Ella’s journey on the show but it also undermines all of the values and practises that the dating agents put in place during filming.”
Participants on the dating show are famously not allowed to mingle until filming is fully wrapped.
Ella was believed to be single when she began filming the programme just two months ago.
The upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating is expected to premiere later this year and will feature Ella looking for love alongside Jamelia, Helen Flanagan and Lauryn Goodman.
Chris Taylor, Stephen Lustig-Webb and Tristan Phipps round out the cast on the show.
Ella was last linked to EastEnders heartthrob Bobby Brazier after The Sun shared exclusive pictures of the unlikely couple snogging on the dancefloor of the BAFTAs after-party.
A partygoer said at the time: “Bobby and Ella were going for it, it was a proper snog and he went back a couple of times for more.
“They were sharing flirty banter and then they pulled each other to one side for a snog by the bar.
“Later, they had their arms wrapped around each other for another snog, too.”
