Contours of three jobs schemes being finalised

The Ministry of Labour and Employment finalized three employment-linked schemes, targeting 29 million formal jobs in two years via EPFO. Approval from the expenditure finance committee and cabinet is awaited. The schemes will be launched after significant software upgrades at EPFO, potentially coinciding with Prime Minister Modi’s birthday in September.
