DoorDash reports record-breaking orders and revenue for Q2

SAN FRANCISCO, California: The San Francisco-based delivery company announced a 19 percent increase in total orders, reaching 635 million for the April-June period, surpassing Wall Street's expectation of 625 million, according to FactSet.

Revenue climbed 23 percent to US$2.6 billion, beating analysts' forecast of $2.5 billion. The positive news sent DoorDash's stock up 11 percent in after-hours trading.
