Nicky Hilton Pops in Valentino Rockstud Espadrille Wedges at Generation Love Pop-Event in New York
Nicky Hilton attended the women’s contemporary ready-to-wear brand Generation Love’s pop-up event at the Hamptons Polo Club in New York on Aug. 3 with co-founders Roni Hirshberg and Audrey Bressa.
Notable attendees included Nicky Hilton, Bijou Phillips, Grace Ann Nader and Mary Holland Nader. Guests had an exclusive first look at the brand’s new collection while enjoying an afternoon of polo, bouquet making and refreshments at the members-only venue.
Channeling summer vibes, Hilton donned a pair of Rockstud espadrilles with an edgy twist from Valentino. The silhouette was comprised of light blue denim-inspired leather uppers, woven jute espadrille platform soles and ankle straps that wrapped around Hilton’s ankles dotted with shiny gold stud detailing.
Contrasting white stitching fixed the wedge soles to the leather uppers, offering the silhouette a rustic quality. 3.25-inch wedges finished off the set, offering the footwear mogul a boost in height. Espadrilles have become exceedingly popular within the last few years, especially once warmer weather rolls around.
In a matchy-matchy move, the star sported a Generation Love Cosette dress featuring a white and blue color scheme and a blooming floral print. The garment included a tiered skirt and a strappy square neckline. Hilton’s dress was belted, offering her ensemble dimension. The blossoming dress retails for $365 on the brand’s website. On the accessories front, the fashion designer wore oversized tan sunglasses with brown lenses and jewelry fixed with high-shine gemstones.
When it comes to shoes, Hilton’s styles are glamorous and chic, with a nod to her Y2K years first in the spotlight. The star often favors pointed-toe and platform pumps in neutral tones by Valentino, Chanel and Dior. Her red carpet looks feature similar styles embellished with bows and crystals by Mach & Mach, Giannico and Rene Caovilla. When it comes to off-duty dressing, Hilton wears sharp flats from her own French Sole line, as well as Adidas sneakers.
