Israel has no foreign policy, only a prime minister willing to set the region ablaze

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems intent and willing to burn Israel to the ground because he sees himself as the embodiment of a state that, without him, has no viability or agency. Has it really taken the Americans 30 years to realize this?
