Moshin Naqvi Strikes Back on Critics- ‘You Will See The…’

In a recent media interaction, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Moshin Naqvi went all out on a journalist when he was asked about his cricketing knowledge. He said that he has taken up this position to deliver his promises and is not bothered by critics’ opinions on his knowledge.

Before taking over the PCB, Moshin served as the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab from January last year to February 2024.

Moshin was initially a businessman who later on entered politics. He was one of the two nominees for the role of caretaker Chief Minister of the Punjab province. Surprisingly, Moshin was even suggested by a fellow politician Hamza Shehbaz for this role.

During a press conference in Lahore, one of the reporter questioned him about his knowledge in cricketing.

“Time will tell how much I know about cricket but we are here to deliver. I don’t care about what people say but you will see the results,” replies Naqvi.

In the conference, the one-time politician also added that a 6-member advisory committee will be formed soon under Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis.

“I am bringing in former stars to vet and improve the cricket system and end this culture of personal likes and dislikes,” said Naqvi.

The PCB chief also announced the launch of a new domestic structure, which according to him, will soon be a part of the board’s constitution.

“We will vet this new domestic structure into the constitution as well so that in future it cannot be changed. Each team will be supervised by a reputable former stalwart and he will be given three years to manage and get results,” he said.
