Gender disparity exists in rural India with majority of employed individuals male: Survey

A survey found that employment among rural men aged 18-25 is 50%, while only 25% of rural women in the same age group are employed. In the 26-35 age range, 85% of men and 40% of women are working. Many rural youths expressed interest in changing jobs or starting small ventures.
