Hot sunny days, warm overnights on tap for Portland metro

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Plenty of sunshine, warm overnight temps and those above-normal daytime highs are what you can expect over the next seven days.

Portland will see temperatures climb into the upper 80s to mid-90s all week. Tuesday will be the day to get outside. It'll be the "coolest" day with highs in the metro area maxing out in the mid-80s. Tuesday will also bring with it a few morning clouds before we see some sun breaks in our afternoon hours. Temps will hit the 90s by Wednesday and continue through at least Friday.

As for the overnight lows for the week, the forecast calls for Portland to see more warm nights and mornings with the low only expected to drop to right around 60 degrees. Late in the week, the lows look to only get down to the mid-60s.

Weather Alerts

There is an Air Quality Alert in place until 11 a.m. on Monday for Eugene, Florence and Oakridge -- as well as portions of Central and Eastern Oregon.
